With Conan giving the finger to NBC and Jay Leno, and the nation watching the network news giant on a steady decline into the abyss of boring and total lameness, he’s apparently got a bit more spare time on his hands to do whatever the fuck he wants. Rumor has him taking to the stage and touring around the US & Europe. Though he’s not allowed to be on the air until September, there is not stipulation about him taking his show on the road and performing live.

It sucks when you drink 3 drinks and wake up feeling like total ass. I’ve been spilling coffee all over myself and nursing a headache this morning so the postings are a bit slow, finally getting around to perusing the intardwebz and we can see what we come up with.

I travel… A lot. I’m fluent in airport bullshit and airplane inetiquette (not a word). I’ve been stuck in countless airports for countless hours and have entertained myself through various ways of distraction and annoyance. The only thing that comes close to what you’re about so see is when I was Oovoo-ing a few friends last year while walking through the airport, laptop in arms and barely managing to keep my balance with luggage in tow. My friends did the honour of screaming racial slurs and various insults to people who were unknowingly caught in the background. Luckily for everyone I had headphones in and therefore saved myself from airport ejection on the counts of being some sort of video terrorist; or just a fucking asshole with asshole friends.
We all know social networking will be the downfall of our society in one way or another. Be it from significant other stalking and voyeurism, accidentally posting something not meant for public consumption, or plain old vindictiveness by one exacting revenge upon another. I will completely admit I sit on facebook and constantly go through peoples profiles and photos or friends, ex lovers, complete strangers. I am a voyeur in the finest form.
Sometimes I play the 7 Degrees of Kevin Bacon game sans Kevin Bacon (what the hell happened to him anyway?) trying to see if I can randomly click on profiles and people to some how get back to myself or someone I know, it’s a smaller world than we all think and the strange intricacies of relationships and connections are sometimes surprising. I’ve come across some really cool things, art, and websites and other interesting ‘stuff’ via this method, and just some strange, stupid shit that on occasion has the ability to piss me off.
