Gone and disappeared… well it happens from time to time. You’ll get used to it. Life throws a curve ball or two, and then a giant mound of elephant shit right in your very direction. Those things are hard to dodge, you hear me. And quite the clean up!
I made the great decision to leave my absolutely shit job, for what unbeknownced to me, would be another similar version of that very same hell, but without free parking or free cookies. And to me, that is just fucking unacceptable. Not to mention one of these newfound freaks coworkers slightly resembles ManBearBig with a nose brown as shit; Another other sounds EXACTLY like the sloth from Ice age. And has the uncanny physical resemblance too. And he only speaks to himself constantly… I feel like I’ve ended up in toon town, on acid, without any windows, and no doors.
To boot, the sinus infection of DOOM as returned, which either means more antibiotics, or a catscan. Kill me.

Contemplating the possibilty of a makeover for the site. Pretty as it is (you can keep your opinions to yourselves). But we can rebuild it! I have the techonoligies!!!… or someone does and I can steal it! So, maybe/hopefully I’ll find the motivation to do things after I’m done procrastinating.

The last time (okay, second to last) I smoked I distinctly remember getting the spins… I’m not sure if I can attribute that to the combination of lots of alcohol and knowing me, probably various kinds (PBR was probably the downfall of it all), or the fact that I don’t smoke, EVER. We were at the after-hours party at a friends house, because clearly, where else would I be drunk enough at 3am to think that smoking was a remotely good idea at ALL, on ANY level.

As I’m sure everyone knows by know… The prolific American hip-hop artist, the lyrical and only decent member of GangStarr, Guru, passed away on Monday after a long battle with cancer. Unfortunately, Solar remains alive.
Rumors of Guru’s death had previously surfaced before when he fell into a coma in February. His ‘partner’ (and we use the term loosely) at that point jumped on the media bandwagon, declaring power of attorney, prohibiting even his own FAMILY from visiting. Seems a bit strange doesn’t it? While Guru was in a coma, Solar continued to rep the music, release tracks and use this situation as his own leg up, but seems to have done nothing more than prove his reputation as the piece of shit scumbag he’s showing people he is. The letter (seen after the jump), “written by Guru” aka clearly written by Solar confirms just that.

Christopher Haines aka Neon Dreams has quite the impressive portfolio. Methodical and bright photo compositions that really catch your eye. I don’t really need to say much as the work really speaks for itself. And he did a piece of Thom Yorke from Radiohead so that’s +20 for Chris in my book.
