Some dope illustrations from Spain based Gabriel Moreno. A thoughtful combination of layered mixed media with a bold and sparing use of colour to definitely make a visual impact. Iceland Ruins It for the Rest of Us

The volcanic unrest for the past month on Iceland has now brought all air travel in northern Europe to a grinding halt (namely – UK, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark) due to the latest eruption of Eyjafjallajökull. Clouds of ash from the eruption drifted outward and east over northern Europe posing a threat to all flights coming and going. Ji Yong Ho creates sculptures out of old tires, creepy and very cool! I have neither the dedication or patience to create something that is undoubtedly quite labor intensive, so much respect to him for the idea and execution of them. I wonder if they float….

Hamburger Shooter Acquitted

Someone clearly took the phrase “Have it your way” a little too far in DC the other day by fatal shooting an 18 year-old girl, Tanganika Stanton, after she supposedly passed on his advances and then refused to make him a hamburger. He left, then came back with a gun and shot at both her and her mother, killing the girl and wounding the mother. Further more!… Get this, the asshole was acquitted today, charges of first degree murder dropped … →

My New House

Well, not really… But I found this design by Head Architecture amazing. Someday, when I finally am able to curb my spending on useless shit, maybe I’ll be able to buy a house; in Detroit most likely if we’re going for bang-for-your-buck spending… Extra money for guard dogs, a razor wire fence and heavy artillery.
