Wednesday Madness. I’m busy, that’s all you get!
Segway company owner, James Heselden, was pulled from a river in Northern England Sunday morning with a segway device shortly in tow. I never trusted those fucking things. Sweet, sweet irony. Segway: when walking is just too fucking difficult.
I just came across this compliation of animal photography from Boston.com. Some amazing, and occassionally commical photos, as well as a few that might just piss a few people off. More after the jump.
This completely just made my day.
I’ve never understood why people have ever thought this was a good look, unless you’re possibly changing when you get to the office? But really, it’s not as if you’re doing some amazonian trek through the conrete jungle to arrive at your place of work, only to whisk away at 5pm through the same obstacle course from which you came. Get a pair of fucking flats, this isn’t 1985, or Breakfast Club.

Universal studios in Orlando, FL went to the trouble of altering the seats of their new Harry Potter ride so the copious amounts of land manatees who weren’t “diet motivated” would be able to feel included in the wonderful world of roller coasters, magic & prepubescent witches, after one oversized individual started a blog after being turned away from the ride. Tragic.
And here we go again with another example of ignorance, and lack of appreciation/understanding for anything that falls outside of the scope of “acceptable art.” This time, and not the first, in Brisbane, Australia. A legally commissioned wall by world renowned artist, Anthony Lister, was buffed less than 48 hours after completion. It seems that if it’s not on canvas, or in a museum, or if it doesn’t cost $50,000+ it’s considered an eyesore, lacking creative worth or any aesthetic … →
