This weekend was the launch of Martha Coopers new book “Name Tagging” in NYC. A prolific photojournalist from Baltimore, MD who has been documenting the proliferation of Graffiti throughout the East Coast (mainly New York) since the 1970′s and has some amazing works to show for it. Historical too, depending on how you view the art (yes, I said it, fuck you, it’s art).

I’d imagine the event went amazingly, seeing as it was sponsored by Obey & Stella too, who doesn’t like to quote A Street Car Named Desire, when ordering a beer?! Undoubtedly a lot of heads came to be a part of it too. I’ll report back with reviews, photos, etc. as soon as I can get my hands on them.

Enjoy!

A cool shot via BBC of the Mount Elkjfasdfasgji (Eyjafjallajokull) volcano and UK.

Some cool wildlife photography… taken in the zoo… Good shots nonetheless!
In lieu of my random obsession with all things panda (I don’t really understand it either, but I’m just going with it) I’m going to make this, and it’s going to be awesome. Will post pics if successful or not!
